Premium quality
Every pallet is graded against the same spec before it leaves the shed. Fruit that does not meet it does not ship. Our buyers know what they are getting before they open the box.

JM Berry Farms is a family owned grower supplying supermarkets, wholesale markets and food service across Victoria. Three generations on the same soil, more than a million plants, and one standard for what goes in the punnet.
Growing good fruit is the easy part. Delivering it to the same standard every week of the season is what keeps our customers with us year after year.

We have farmed strawberries in the Yarra Valley since 1965. That is sixty-one seasons of learning which varieties hold up in our soil, when to plant, and how to read a difficult spring.
HARPS and Freshcare certified, audited on schedule, with the paperwork ready when your compliance team asks for it. No chasing, no gaps.
The same family has made the calls here for three generations. When you ring us about a delivery, you reach someone who can actually decide something.

About us
Our family started growing strawberries in the Yarra Valley in 1965, and we are still on that ground today. The farm has grown to more than a million plants, but the way we judge a season has not changed. Taste the fruit. Check the punnet. Ask the crew who picked it. Most of our growing team lives locally and has been with us for years, which is a large part of why the fruit is consistent.
Our main crop and the reason people know us. Graded into retail punnets and wholesale trays, picked and cooled the same day, dispatched overnight to Melbourne markets and supermarket distribution centres.

Victorian strawberries run roughly from October through to May, with the sweetest fruit usually between November and January. We will tell you honestly which weeks we can cover and which we cannot, rather than promising a full season and short-supplying you in March.

Fruit moves from field to cool room the same day it is picked. It is graded by size and colour, packed to your format, and held in the cold chain until it reaches you. We can pack to a retailer spec or a wholesale tray.

Our partners
We grow. Our partners handle the selling and the distribution, which lets us keep our attention on the crop. Between them, our fruit reaches supermarket shelves and independent fruit shops right across Victoria.

How we keep our people and our fruit safe. Our workplace policies cover health and safety, hygiene and conduct across every site, and we review them as the rules change.

Tell us the volumes, pack format and delivery windows you need. We will come back with honest availability, including the weeks we cannot cover.
