A Yarra Valley strawberry farm, run by the same family since 1965
We are a family owned grower in Victoria's Yarra Valley. We plant, pick, grade and pack more than a million strawberry plants each season, and we supply the fruit to supermarkets, wholesale markets and food service businesses across the state.
On the farm
From the row to the cool room
Picking starts early and the fruit is in the cool room the same day. Strawberries do not improve after they are picked, so everything we do from that point is about slowing them down and getting them to you in the condition they left the field.
Our story
Started in 1965. Still the same family, still the same soil.
Our family began growing strawberries in the Yarra Valley in 1965, in the same district where migrant families first planted strawberries in Victoria a decade earlier. We started small. The farm grew season by season as each generation took it on, and today we manage more than a million plants across our sites.
What has not changed is who makes the decisions. This is still a family business, and the people who own it are the people in the shed at six in the morning during picking. That matters to our buyers, because when something goes wrong with a delivery they are talking to someone who can fix it rather than someone who has to escalate it.
